The travelers who once crossed this route were drawn to the intellectual and cultural exchanges that took place in the cities along the way. This concert recreates those encounters, with each piece carefully chosen to preserve and share the traditional music of these native lands.

Lucía Veintimilla is a passionate violinist, praised for her powerful artistic voice, expressiveness, and technical mastery. Renowned for her commitment to contemporary music, she has built an impressive international career as a recitalist, chamber musician, and soloist, performing extensively across Europe and Asia.
She has appeared on prestigious stages such as the Warsaw Philharmonic, Vienna’s Mozarthaus, London’s Barbican Centre and Milton Court, as well as at leading music festivals in England, France, Switzerland, the Netherlands, South Korea, Germany, and Belgium.
Throughout her career, Lucía has received numerous awards and prestigious scholarships, including the British-Spanish Society Centenary Award, the Elizabeth Sweeting Award, the Ann and Peter Law Award (OAE), and the Wolfson Foundation Instrument Award.
