Xema Soriano, artists manager
I’m Xema Soriano, an artist manager specialising in live music, theatre and cultural programming. My work focuses on connecting artists, theatre companies and musical projects with auditoriums, theatres, festivals, local authorities and cultural organisations looking for high-quality productions for their programmes.
Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to work from both sides of the cultural sector: the creative and performing arts world, and the field of cultural management. This dual perspective allows me to understand the needs of artists while also recognising what programmers and cultural organisers look for when designing a season, planning a festival or selecting performances for an auditorium or cultural venue.
Through Xema Music & Theatre, I collaborate in the representation and distribution of artists and performing arts projects, helping each production find the right audience, venue and context. My aim is to make the booking process straightforward, professional and transparent, ensuring that both artists and cultural organisations can focus on what matters most: delivering exceptional artistic experiences.
My experience as an events programmer for venues such as the Olympia Theatre in Valencia has given me first-hand insight into what makes a cultural programme successful. Artistic quality is essential, but so too are careful planning, professional delivery, a coherent artistic vision and the ability to create a genuine connection with audiences.
