LA PETITA MALUMALUGA

Marceline

Marceline was born in Aragon in 1873 and established the foundations of the modern clown language in London. He was Charles Chaplin’s teacher. A few years later, cinema emerged and theatres ceased to be the temples of entertainment. Some, like Charles Chaplin, knew how to adapt; others, like Marceline, met a tragic end and fell into complete oblivion. Through movement, live music and technology applied to the stage, this piece offers a journey through the life of Marceline Orbés.
